Miles Hankins is a young, versatile composer who specializes in dramatic orchestral writing as well as a variety of contemporary scoring styles and genres.   Most recently he has assisted composer Michael Picton on several projects including the SciFi network television series "Flash Gordon" as well as work for clients including Six Flags Amusement Parks and Universal Pictures.  In 2007 Miles contributed his talents to the music of feature films including Lionsgate's 2008 release "The Forbidden Kingdom" starring Jet Li and Jackie Chan, and "Red" starring Brian Cox and Tom Sizemore. In 2008 Miles will continue working with Michael Picton on a variety of projects as well as serving as music editor for the new CBS television series "Swingtown."  Miles was the Second Prize recipient in the 2006 Turner Classic Movies young Film Composer's Competition and has studied composition at the University of Miami School of Music and privately in the studio of award winning composer Daron Aric Hagon in New York.
