mixing
mixing can be the difference between demos and records.  beautifully recorded tracks do not reach fruition unless they are well mixed.  it is an opportunity to enhance the artistic nature of a recording while creatively putting all of a record’s best feet forward. mixing can be an additional element of the production or simply a process of keeping the train on the tracks; i.e. seeing to a completion of what already has all of its nuts and bolts.  the trick is knowing what type of situation you’re in and dealing with the tracks accordingly.  evan sees mixing as a puzzle where not all the pieces fit but, “we use powerful scissors to gain compliance.”  make sure you use your german accent when saying aloud.
